I saw a few pictures and read a few blog posts about Johannesburg Fashion Week and this collection caught my eye! I couldn’t believe it, but Avant Apparel launched their debut collection just this year and by the look of it they will be sticking around for a long time. This brand is powered by duo Lauren du Plessis and Bailey Alison and it seems like these two are a match made in heaven. The collection is described by the designers as graphic, boxy, linear, uncomplicated and clean with a colour palette of soft nudes contrasted with stark blacks. Definitely up there with some of the collections seen during London, Paris and New York Fashion week. Spread the word people because this brand is BIG!!
